What is our Weekly Weight Management treatment?

Using our Weekly Weight Management Pen introduces a medication into your system which is similar to a natural occurring hormone called GLP-1 that is released from the intestine after a meal. Our MWM Pen works by acting on receptors in the brain that control your appetite, causing you to feel fuller and less hungry. This may help you eat less food and reduce your body weight. This is administered via a pen like device used once a week which is pre-loaded, dosage measured pen making it simple to use.

This weekly self administered treatment is used for weight loss in addition to diet and exercise in adults aged 18 and above who have:

• BMI of 30 or greater (obese)

• BMI of 27 and less than 30 (overweight) and weight-related health problems (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, abnormal levels of fats in the blood or breathing problems during sleep called ‘obstructive sleep apnoea’).

BMI (Body Mass Index) is a measure of your weight in relation to your height.

During your first 4 weeks you will administer 0.25mg once a week of a prescription only medication using your pen. During month two, this will be upped to 0.5mg and then you will continue with 1mg weekly until the desired results are achieved or there is a clinical reason to stop.

After completing an online pre-treatment form, we will contact you to arrange a face to face consultation to asses if you are a suitable candidate for the program. Each course of treatment includes:

Should you experience any issues or have any questions, then we are available at all stages of your journey to support and encourage you.

The weekly pen starts at 0.25mg of Ozempic for the first four weeks, moving to 0.5mg then to 1mg for the continued treatment. The pen will last 4-6 weeks.

Combined with diet changes and exercise you will experience a much great weight loss effect than using the pens on their own. The pen allows you to creat a calorie deficit which the true key to weight loss. Reducing your calorie intake to create a 500 calorie deficit or more will cause very effective weight loss.

Ideal calorie intake per day:

Men: 1500 - 1800

Women: 1200 - 1400

Initial pen come with sharps bin and needles.
