Micro suction is a procedure that uses a small suction device and microscope to remove:

Debris.
Foreign Bodies such as the cones from hearing aids and cotton bud heads.
It’s considered one of the safest and most effective ways to clean the ear. Micro suction is safer than ear irrigation (syringing) because it avoids contact with the internal ear structures and has a lower risk of infection and perforation of the ear drum.
Available at both our Warrington and Chester clinics. If you are known to have compacted ear wax, please use drops or spray in the ears three times per day for one week leading up to your appointment.
